Playa Maya is a 4-star small hotel, finished in August 2002 and located on the beach between calle 6 and calle 8, just one block from the famous 5th Avenue, which is the heart of activity in Playa del Carmen and only about 500 yards from the ferries to and from Cozumel. Playa Maya offers 20 rooms all featuring super-quiet AC, cable TV, hair dryer, free in-room security safe and two beds, with rates based on double occupancy and continental breakfast included.

Playa Maya offers beach-only access: just go to the end of 8th street (calle 8) and come around past the Alhambra hotel to the right to let us know you have arrived, so that we can take care of your bags for you. If you are arriving by some form of private transportation, just tell or show your driver: Entrada únicamente sobre la playa, casi esquina con la calle 8.
