Start your seafaring journey with some land-based transportation to the town of Puerto Aventuras (optional and comes at an extra fee of $25 payable locally at the marina in cash). 

Located just a short 30-minute ride from Playa del Carmen, your air-conditioned van will drop you off at the gorgeous harbor set within the stunning turquoise waters of the local mangrove channels.

Following a short safety briefing by the friendly and experienced crew of the Catamaya, you'll soon be headed out into the Caribbean Sea. You'll sail for about one hour before anchoring close to the Mesoamerican Reef--the second-longest barrier reef on the planet. 

Experienced dive masters and snorkel guides will accompany on your snorkel tour as you seek out the abundant marine life that calls this part of the Mesoamerican Reef their home. 

Meanwhile, back on the boat, the catamaran's chef will prepare some delicious food to feed that hunger you developed while exploring the fascinating underwater world of the Mexican Caribbean.

Back on board, you'll be treated to the option of grilled marinated fish fillet or a New York Steak as well as a variety of side dishes and tropical drinks from the full open bar. A first-class meal at sea!

Once your bellies are full and you've had time to digest that scrumptious meal you just ate, you'll sail back to Puerto Aventuras and enjoy stunning views of the beautiful Riviera Maya coastline.
