The catamaran’s slogan is “you can’t have too much fun!”

That pretty much sums up the tour, although we could add, best value for money, or quality tour.

The luxury 45′ catamarans are available for either a 4-hour morning or afternoon tour.

The tour heads out of Puerto Aventuras port and the drinks start to flow.

Choose from Corona brand beers, Coca-Cola brand soft drinks, rum, vodka, or their famously strong but delicious rum punch. You can also opt for tropical juices or filtered water.

Laze back on the nets and feel the ocean spray, or if you prefer the shade, there are plenty of areas to sit under the roof. The beauty of the coastline is stunning.

Once you arrive at your first stop for snorkeling, the crew will kit you out with equipment (sterilized mouthpiece) and life jackets before heading into the water.

If you are a beginner snorkeler, the crew will assist you!

For those of you who love to snorkel and have done it before, the protected area inside the coral reef is the perfect spot to observe the colorful, tropical fish.

This area is also loved by giant sea turtles, so nature-willing, you will also have the chance to observe these gentle giants up close.

Snorkel stop completed, picnic lunch is on its way. Choose a sandwich, bag of chips and a cookie, and grab another drink because you are now headed to the swim stop.

The south bay is a protected swim area where you will be able to enjoy the warm sea water and the cooler cenote water that jets through the sandy floor.

Flip you life jacket upside down and put your legs where the arms would go, and buckle it around your waist. This is what they call the Fat Cat Diaper. Bob along the water effortlessly, enjoying the sunshine and a drink.
