First up, let’s talk Nightclubs!
1. La Vaquita
One of Cancun’s most crazy clubs, La Vaquita means little or small cow in Spanish.
However, there is nothing little about this club, or its events.
With everything from themed parties to twerk competitions and go-go dancers, this is a place to let loose.
La Vaquita offers personal passes starting at $40 USD which includes the cover for entrance and a food and beverage credit.
An open bar option for select drinks is part of the beverage credit. They also have a bottle service pass to accommodate up to 4 people, starting at $250 USD.
Prepare for a crazy night if you decide to visit.

2. Mandala Cancun
Yes, it is the same as the Mandala Beach club except it transforms into a wild nightclub in the evenings to keep the party going.
So, really a day here would be you get the best of both worlds!
With Asian-inspired decor, the fun here is in full supply.
You can dance the night away while enjoying the entertainment such as go-go dancers and fire shows.
Individual passes start at $60 USD and include like the other passes the cover fee and credit for consumption of food and drink.
Group packages start at $250 USD for 4 people and the price increases the more people that are in the group.
There is no way to have a bad night here!

3. Abolengo Cancun
If you want something slightly more chilled but still has a good vibe with music and drinks, then this bar is the one for you.
Abolengo isn’t as crazy as Mandala but it still has that party vibe you need to let loose and DANCE!
The bar gets raves reviews on its food and there is often live music.
The prices start at $150 USD for 4 people.
This includes the cover fee, a table reservation, and food and drinks credit.
This can be the “warm-up” or pre-drinks spot before heading on to the loader and more notorious nightclubs.

4. Coco Bongo Cancun
With three international locations, Coco Bongo Cancun is one of the locations for famous shows and discos.
There’s a big one in Cancun and a slightly smaller one in the more relaxed town of Playa Del Carmen.
It is by far one of the most popular clubs to visit on your next trip here.
They are the leaders in entertainment showcasing everything from acrobats to unique live performances.
The price may seem a little steep starting at $86 USD per person and going up to $126 USD per person but you get what you pay for.
They do have VIP tables you can pay for which I would recommend especially during the pandemic to allow for enough space and to avoid the crowds.
It’s worth it in the end because you pay for the entrance fee, the shows for the night, a snack and free drinks with table service.
What’s not to love?
This is the place to go for a night to remember!

5. HRoof Cancun
Calling itself a private club, HRoof is a more upscale place to party.
As the picture above suggests this place is not for everyone.
They have a dress code and a more exclusive vibe.
If you’re looking for an intimate club, this is an option for you.

6. The City Cancun
This is one of the biggest nightclubs around!
It has three levels and has been around for 17 years!
This club is only open one night out of the week so make sure to check the days you are booking if you want to party it up here.

7. Congo Bar
Not to be confused with the Congo Bongo show, Congo Bar Cancun is a smaller scale version of Coco Bongo.
Congo bar has themed nights and live performances.
They have aerial shows and dance performers as part of their entertainment.
The price here is $40 USD per person and is straightforward.
It includes an entrance fee, shows, a snack, and drinks – great bang for buck!
A smaller club doesn’t mean less fun!

8. Senor Frogs
With such a recognizable name, it’s impossible not to know this place. Señor Frog’s is a Cancun must!
During the day Señor Frog’s serves as a restaurant where you can get everything from food to merch but once the sun sets the party begins.
Stop by day or night but especially at night for the club experience. They offer theme parties from foam nights to live band nights.

9. Hunter Bar
This isn’t your usual club. Hunter Bar offers a laid-back vibe.
This chill spot is great for backpackers and easy-going tourists alike.
It’s also one of the lower-cost places to party. Our experts didn’t find any cover charge which is never a bad thing. 😉
Enjoy food, drinking games, and good music when you visit Hunter Bar.

Here are our top 2 recommendations for sipping a margarita by the shore.
1. Manada Beach
Mandala offers a beachside place to party during the day. This day club offers everything from lounge chair rentals to bed and villa rentals.
A club that compares itself to Ibiza and Miami, here you can get a tan, eat good food, drink, and dance on the beach.
Mandala beach has DJs, pools, jacuzzis, and more for people looking for a fiesta.
Going solo?
Chill on a beach chair starting at $40 USD per person in the family zone The price for an individual includes the cover charge with a beach chair and food and drink credit.
Going with a group?
Vibe in a Villa in the Villa Adult Zone for $1250 USD. The price includes a cover charge for 8 people plus a $1250 USD consumption credit.
If neither of those fits your needs, of course, they have other zones and prices available.
You can enjoy a pool party by the beach, any day of the week here.

2. Chicabal Sunset Club
This day club offers a unique experience.
Chicabal claims their “Magical Lagoon” location will transport you to a new world for a club experience.

With many positive reviews, it even touts the ability to get on a yacht for a memorable view of the lagoon.
This is a newer party spot but already has two locations. Its second location is in Vallarta, Mx.
If you want to watch the sunset with food, music, and yachts check this place out.

Are There Safety Measures in Place?
It’s important to note that all places listed care about their guest’s health.
Each establishment will follow the recommended health and safety guidelines for their area.
Meaning the establishments will be at a limited capacity and will likely require you to make a reservation ahead of time.
They may also have earlier closing times than usual.
As a guest you agree to follow each establishment’s sanitation protocols which can include but are not limited to temperature checks, wearing a mask, social distancing, and use of hand sanitisers.
Most commonly you will just see reduced capacity and temperature checks.
