Plus, it has all the contemporary features you’d expect from a five-star resort that opened in August 2021.

And, you can access features including restaurant menus and activity schedules using the dedicated Nickelodeon Resort App.

Is Nickelodeon Riviera Maya all-inclusive?

This is the first Nickelodeon resort in Mexico that provides an all-inclusive experience.

You can also hire a certified babysitter at an additional cost.

How far is Nickelodeon Riviera Maya from the airport?

The resort is just 23 minutes from Cancun  International.

You get transportation to and from the airport included in the cost of your stay.

Plus, there’s a shuttle service waiting to transport you around the resort while you’re there.

5. Room Types

The accommodation is as gorgeous as you would expect from a five-star resort.

The interiors benefit from great attention to detail.

Plus, you get access to amenities such as rain showers, free-standing tubs, and smart TVs.

I love the emphasis on swim-up suites at this resort.

You can choose from:

There are also some pretty special accommodations with priority access for Travelers Club Members.

In my opinion, the coolest of these is the “Lair Suite” which is modeled on the subterranean lair of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

This penthouse suite features a master suite and a further double bedroom with a separate living and dining space.

There’s also an outdoor area with furniture and an infinity plunge pool.

What can I say except “Cowabunga!”

Each accommodation is oceanfront, so you get great views.

The average cost of staying at the resort is $680-$800 per night.

The actual cost of your stay depends on when you travel and which accommodation you choose.

6. Beach

There’s a compact white sand beach at Nickelodeon Riviera Maya.

You have plenty of space to take a short stroll and enjoy the Caribbean views.

However, keeping it real, this is not a resort that’s known for being a great beach holiday destination.

The small size of the beach, and rocks along the shoreline, mean it’s not ideal for swimming.

But, you can chill out on one of the comfortable beach chairs.

And, you’re never far away from water-based fun at the main pool area and waterpark.

7. Food & Drink

There are several fun and funky dining opportunities at Nickelodeon Riviera Maya.

And, you can be sure of 5-star service wherever you choose to eat.

Plus, the choice of venues gives you and your wedding guests access to international dining experiences such as:

• Yacht Club – world cuisine on offer in a beachfront dining location where kids can dine in their own section.
• Good Burger™ – the home of fabulous burgers with a modern and playful twist.
• Piazza ™ – the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ favorite hang-out thanks to its delicious pizzas.
• Le Spatula – for playful dinners in a bright space that’s inspired by Bikini Bottom ™.
• Nick Bistro – decide between choosing your own food from the interactive food display or opting for the a la carte menu.
• Wellness Bar – for healthy bites inside or cocktails on the outside terrace.

It’s not just restaurants that are the hub of social activity at Nickelodeon Riviera Maya.

There are some pretty amazing bars too.

Go back to the ’90s at Snick Lounge™ where adults and kids alike can play arcade games or billiards, or relax and enjoy the live entertainment.

Or, you may prefer enjoying a drink without leaving the pool at the Cosmo Swim-Up Bar or the Wanda Swim-Up Bar.

Heads up…

There are a couple more food and drink options at the resort.

Check out Aqua Bite around Aqua Nick where you can get some snacks or treats.

Or maybe you’d prefer to hire a Cabana at Aqua Nick.

These Cabanas can be hired at an additional cost and come with fully stocked premium minibars, televisions, and safety deposit boxes.

They’re also attended by personal pool butlers.

Given the theme, it’s not surprising that entertainment and fun are all around you at this resort.

Whatever your age, there’s always something to make you smile.

Aqua Nick with its water slides and Lazy River is incredible.

It covers six acres and is surrounded by naturally beautiful tropical gardens.

There are also Meet & Greets with “Nick” characters to enjoy.

Other resort activities available for you and your guests to experience include:

• Scuba clinics in the pool
• Yoga classes
• Aqua aerobics
• Dance classes
• Pilates
• Cooking classes

Last but not least…

The Náay Spa is amazing.

Why not pamper yourself with a beauty treatment or arrange some therapeutic treatments for you and your bridal party?

You do have to pay extra for Spa services but they’re so worth it!

Is there anything to do outside of Nickelodeon Riviera Maya?

To be honest, there’s more than enough to keep you occupied inside the resort.

But, I’d always recommend exploring further afield.

It’s such a beautiful part of the world, it would be a shame to miss out.

You get to drive a buggy through the Mayan jungle and explore this spectacular environment.
