3. Ceremony & Reception Venues
There are seven wedding venue options at Nizuc Resort and Spa.
Of these venues, the Sian Ka’’an function room is the only space where you can hold your ceremony.
The maximum capacity for your ceremony is 152.
If you want to hold a cocktail reception in this space the maximum capacity is 200 and for a banquet reception, the maximum capacity is 140.
The other venues at the resort are:
- Nizuc Garden – cocktails maximum capacity 175, banquet maximum capacity 125.
- A’Kan Terrace – cocktails maximum capacity 125, banquet maximum capacity 75.
- Nizuc Beach – cocktails maximum capacity 175, banquet maximum capacity 125.
- Terra Nostra Terrace and Lower Deck – banquet maximum capacity 120.
- Reef Beach – cocktails maximum capacity 60, banquet maximum capacity 50.
- La Punta Grill Terrace and Lower Deck – cocktails maximum capacity 175, banquet maximum capacity 125.
4. Gay Weddings at This Resort

Looking for adults-only accommodation in a family-friendly resort?
No problem.
The Ocean Suites at the resort are available only to guests who are 16+.
They’re located just a few steps away from the adults-only area of the beach, throughout the main lobby section of the resort.
Families visiting the resort can choose from one of the Residence Suites which have private terraces:

- Garden Junior Suite
- One Bedroom Garden Junior Suite
- Ocean View Deluxe King
- Ocean View Deluxe Double

I adore the Penthouse Suite.
You get exquisite contemporary decor with a plunge pool and outdoor shower.

6. Beach at Nizuc Resort & Spa
The beach provides incredible Caribbean views.
And it’s very rarely crowded.
You have plenty of space to relax and savor the tranquility.
And the water is clean and clear.
You may find that there is sometimes seaweed on the sand as is the case for many beaches in the area.
But, the hotel team works hard to clear it away so it shouldn’t be a problem for too long.
7. Food & Drink
Whether you’re dining out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you have plenty of choices at Nizuc Resort and Spa.
And, you can relax with a drink at one of the resort’s bars after your meal.
There are six restaurants in the resort where you can sample cuisine from across the globe.
Restaurants:
- Ramona – a contemporary Mexican restaurant where local produce is used by the chefs to deliver creative dishes.
- Indochine – The perfect place for a romantic meal for two with intimate lighting and an imaginative Asian menu.
- Terra Nostra – Homemade pasta and pizzas with views across the mangroves and canal.
- Ni – A Peruvian restaurant with an emphasis on fish, seafood, and rice.
- Café de la Playa – Eclectic breakfast choices at a buffet restaurant with an array of international dishes.
- La Punta Grill & Lounge – The perfect place to socialize with your wedding party while enjoying expertly grilled fish or steak. Guests need to be over 12-years-old to eat here.
After finishing your meal, you can head to one of the three bars at Nizuc Resort and Spa.

Terra Nostra Lounge for live music in the evening.
They’re all well worth a visit for their atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks.
8. Activities & Entertainment at Nizuc Resort & Spa Cancun
Wondering about the activities at NIZUC Resort and Spa?
Let’s start with the three fabulous pools.
There are adults-only and family-friendly pools, so everyone is catered for.
That’s just the beginning of the fun and entertainment at this resort.
You can enjoy other activities including:

I’d like to give a special shout-out to the ESPA spa.
You can pay a visit with your partner or your bridal party.
There are nine treatment rooms, a salon, and a nail boutique.

If any of your guests are traveling with children, they’ll be interested in Winik’s kids’ club for children aged four-12.
There’s also a babysitting service available.
And there are miniature slippers and robes in-room for younger guests.

There’s so much to do at the resort that you may not feel the need to venture away from it.
