The only con I have about this hotel is the terms and conditions wedding packages come with.
The hotel note:
“In order to book a wedding at Hotel Xcaret México, kindly note the following information:
• Wedding packages are available for a minimum of 30 guests
• 80% of the total of guests are required to stay with us for a minimum of 3 nights.
• Venues are booked based on availability and require a minimum final room block depending on the day of the week:
* 11 rooms for 3 nights each from Sunday through Thursday,
* 20 rooms for 3 nights each on Friday
* 25 rooms for 3 nights each on Saturday
• Before receiving a wedding package contract, a deposit and signed contract for such rooms are required. During this process, venues will be on hold for up to 10 days.
• The services not mentioned in the packages, i.e. flowers, decor, entertainment, photo and video services are quoted separately and have an additional cost”

Xcaret Park Weddings no longer have full wedding packages they are all custom weddings.
However, they do provide package options for the ceremony alone.
For ceremonies, you do have the option to have either a:
- Legal
- Symbolic
- Catholic
- Prehispanic
Some of which are for an additional cost.
While the ceremony packages appear cheap, I assure you once you start adding in the reception etc it becomes very pricey very quickly.

- Use of the chapel for a Catholic ceremony.
- Candles and torches to light the entrance towards the chapel.
- Natural tree trunk decoration with Bromeliads in front of the altar.

Saint Francis of Assisi
Located on the highest point of Xcaret, 121 feet above sea level, in the beautiful chapel dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi because of his teachings about the care and preservation of plant and animal species.
The Chapel is a unique architectonic structure from where one can admire a spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea and the majestic landscape Mother Nature offers us, it is ideal to celebrate any religious ceremony.

Chapel of Guadalupe
The Chapel of Guadalupe, characterized by its altar in a sinkhole and its 20th-century neoclassical architecture.
It is located next to the “Hacienda Henequenera”.
Several images of Our Lady of Guadalupe can be found inside the Chapel, as well as a 39-foot tall image carved out of a tree trunk.
Natural Pools
A majestic view of the Caribbean Sea frames this area where a natural stone-made altar has been set up at the level of the Park ́s Natural Pools.

Keeping it real simple is one of the things I do best, so in my opinion here’s how you can tell which Xcaret option is the best for you.
Occidental is the most popular option of the three.
It’s affordable and offers everything you’d expect of a great resort in this region.
Many of our co-ords love to stay here at their leisure because it’s simply an incredible experience.
In their words “we want to sell more of it”.
If money isn’t a question then Xcaret Hotel is a must – but remember you’ve got to meet those Ts and Cs.
It’s pricey but my god, it’s worth it.
And for many Mexican nationals or foreigners whose group simply want to stay at different accommodations in the region or those with a healthy wedding budget then Xcaret Park might be the best option for you.
