Mahekal Beach Resort also has several great on-site features including the Revive Spa, a new fitness facility, and three amazing dining centers. While enjoying the facilities, guests of Mahekal can enjoy a bohemian-style, unplugged vacation experience free from TVs (but with state-of-the-art WiFi). The resort's palapa-style bungalows come with a garden view, ocean view, treehouses, penthouses, or ocean front and beach houses. FOOD & DRINK

Mahekal Beach Resort offers up fresh, authentic and diverse cuisines at their trio of restaurants. Breakfast and dinner, or lunch if you so prefer, are included daily, making this kid-friendly Playa del Carmen resort a semi-inclusive option. 

Fuego Restaurante y Cantina 
Mahekal’s newest oceanfront restaurant and bar, Fuego, serves locally-sourced Mexican cuisine. Boasting a “Tulum-style” wood-burning oven, Fuego offers a relaxed vibe in a simple, laid-back atmosphere.
NOTE: Guests of Mahekal Beach Resort can enjoy Breakfast at Fuego as part of their meal plan.  For dinner, menu prices apply for Fuego, however, guests on the meal plan, may use a $25.00 USD per person credit; not applicable on beverages, towards the food portion cost of their meal.  As always, dinner can be exchanged for lunch, daily.  To exchange dinner for lunch, or to make dinner at Fuego Restaurante y Cantina, please see Guest Services.

Las Olas Restaurant and Bar

A great beach restaurant and bar named for the waves that lap against the sandy shore, Las Olas Restaurant and Bar serves up stunning views of the Caribbean Sea alongside delicious meals of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

Boli's Bar

Boli's Bar uses colorful sculptures made from recycled materials to create a warm and inviting ambience. Add in some pool tables, ping pong, and tasty, fresh-made cocktails, and you'll have Boli's.

Itzi

Refreshing cocktails and scrumptious poolside snacks. Make sure to try the Coco Loco.

Mayan Culinary Casita - Now Open!

Playa del Carmen's newest Mayan dining and restaurant experience, the Mayan Culinary Casita is now open at Mahekal Beach Resort! Featuring authentic dishes prepared by Mayan descendants using flavorful and aromatic spices, Mayan Culinary Casita offers a truly unique dining experience.

NOTE: The experience is for a minimum of 4 persons with advance reservations required. Meal time is lunch only and is and additional cost per person. The experience pricing does not include alcohol and gratuities and is not part of the Mahekal meal package.

Fire Pit at Mahekal's Beach

Each Friday the beachside fire pit is the place to unwind.  Try handcrafted Margaritas, mojitos or martinis as you enjoy live acoustic jazz music.  Friday's 8:00pm to 10:00pm.
