The quest begins as you journey towards the celebrated Chankanab Reef aboard your comfortable vessel named Ana, which carries Explorers to the Submarine Atlantis XII.

The submarine you will board is the only tourist submersible in Mexico! 

Your submarine ride will take you to an astonishing scene at the famous Cozumel Wall, an 1800 feet drop off that is located on the far edges of the Island.

Here you will explore an incredible dive wreck called Felipe Xicotencatl, a 154-foot ship that sank in 2000 for the purpose of enhancing marine life in Cozumel coral reefs.

Felipe Xicotencatl was a ship originally used for minesweeping in the US Navy and was sold to the Mexican Navy in 1962 for rescue and patrolling missions.

The shipwreck lies from 55 to 80 feet deep and houses all kinds of marine life such as fish, sponges, and soft corals. 

Your submarine is battery powered, air-conditioned, and free of any pressure issues, so you needn't worry you can sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Once you’ve uncovered the magic of the ocean Ana will bring explorers back to the pier where they can disembark and enjoy a complimentary rum punch.

THINGS TO NOTE:

All explorers wishing to partake in this tour must be able to safely navigate their own way back down 7 steps on a ladder. Handrails are available.

This vessel is certified by American Bureau of Shipping standards annually. All systems on the submarine are duplicated and the vessel floats to the surface when it is not powered.

There is no age restriction but children should be at least 3 feet in height for safety reasons. 

There are no bathrooms on board and the underwater tour lasts 45 minutes. 

Child prices are for explorers up to the age of 12.
