Description
Discover the Mexican Caribbean on this full-day tour from Cancun to Isla Mujeres.
You'll have fun in the sun aboard a modern catamaran, lunch on a tranquil beach and free time to discover the charming island of Isla Mujeres!
Start off your Caribbean journey with the pick-up at your hotel and get ready to enjoy a short one-hour ride to Cancun.
Your chauffeur will drop you off in the city’s vibrant Hotel Zone from where you’ll head to the local dock to board your catamaran.
You'll then set sail on the Caribbean Sea in style and comfort. As you glide along and take in some sun and refreshing drinks, your expert guides will explain all the details of your tour, including the next aspect of your journey: snorkeling at a portion of the world’s second longest barrier reef: the Mesoamerican Reef.
After your snorkel adventure is finished, which lasts approximately 30 minutes, you’ll get back on board the catamaran for a short but pleasant sail to Isla Mujeres.
Once you reach the island, you’ll be greeted by the smiling staff at the local beach club, where you’ll be able to take in some drinks, lounge around on the white sand beach, swim in the bay and take in a typical lunch buffet.
Once everyone has eaten and had a little time to digest their food, perhaps with the help of a margarita, you’ll then sail to the main dock at Isla Mujeres where you’ll disembark for about 2 hours of free time on the island. You can add the option of open bar whilst at the beach club for only $15 per adult.
Take a spin on a golf cart, moped or bicycle (all of which can be rented for an additional price), or simply walk through the town and along the beach and take in the small town vibe and undeniable charm of Isla Mujeres. Note: you’ll need to take along a driver’s license and credit card (or sufficient cash for a deposit) if you do decide to rent a vehicle.
Afterward, you’ll head back to the catamaran for the approximately thirty-minute sail back to Cancun and from there your transfer back to your hotel in Playa del Carmen.
All in all a great way to get in some sun and sightseeing in the beautiful Mexican Caribbean.
