Although the hotel name is Catalonia Royal Tulum, it’s not actually in Tulum.
It’s located along with the famous Xpu ha Beach, around 25 min south of Playa del Carmen.

There will be 10 people total. We would like to do it on the beach and would like it to be very simple and small. We’ll be renting a VRBO house while were there so I’m not sure which direction to go as far as the ceremony. Help!!

We were thinking of summer 2019 and honestly, not too sure about the guest list. We originally had 200 when we thought we would have it back at home in NY, but budget got in the way, hence the Destination Wedding. So not sure, ususally the percentage of people off your guest list that would actually show up at a wedding. And was worried about hurricane season, rain, etc. I’m very new looking into Destination Wedding info.

We are wanting a short ceremony with a reception including alcoholic drinks, appetizers, and a sound system to play our own musical playlist.
